Paola Merlo

 

Paola Merlo, dentist, SSO, STMD, has a degree in Dentistry and Dental Prostheses (2001) from the University of Pavia, with thesis titled " Morphometric analyses of the jaw growth after mechanical clogging of airways in young rats" and she completed a Post Graduate in Orthodontics at the University of Insurbia, under the guidance of Prof. Alberto Caprioglio, with thesis titled "Analysis of finite elements of the forms of different soothers and proposition of a new geometry" (2004).

She completed a Master’s degree in “Orthodontics in adult patients” at the University of Siena in 2012, under the guidance of Prof. Roberto Giorgetti, discussing the final thesis "Mandibular repositioning in the adult patient".

 

She is a teacher of Dr. Giorgio Fiorelli’s biomechanics courses and has been a lecturer in Italy and abroad, in particular in the USA (2011), Portugal (2012), Warsaw - Poland (2013), Arezzo (2013), Varese (2014), University of Basel (2015), Sibos - Rome (2015), University of Zurich (2015), University of Gothenburg - Sweden (2016).
She was a speaker at the "Melsen & friends" (April 2010) and "Burstone & friends" (April 2012) conferences.
She was a speaker at the XIV Panellenic Congress in Athens in September 2016.

She is a scholastic dentist for the districts of Gordola - Brione Verzasca and Ruvigliana Brè since September 2014.

She is listed among the federal list of Orthodontic Specialists.

She is licensed by Dentofacial Orthopedics for Invalidity Insurance.

She is in regular possession of the Invisalign PLATINUM FIRST level certification.


She is a regular holder of the Invisalign GOLD level certification.
