Some children already have many cavities as of their early childhood. When it is not possible to treat the cavity in the clinic, due to the lack of collaboration by the young patient, the possibility of treatment by general anesthesia is offered at the Italian Hospital in Lugano.
Treatments under general antesthesia. This option is proposed by the Dentist only after having verified the real impossibility of an in-clinic treatment, due to the psychological stress and the risk to which the child would be subject to in case of forced treatment.
Oral recuperation is normally performed in a day hospital, with patient reception is in the morning and discharge is in the afternoon of the same day.
